He does not hesitate to send them to their deaths for his own personal benefit, and only finds remorse in their loss if they are unable to properly complete a task. Not an anime, but cute ^_^

Hello Kitty is the popular cartoon character created in 1974 by the Sanrio Company of Japan. Hello Kitty is a white, mouthless female kitten who lives in a seemingly perfect world. Kind, friendly and impossibly cute, she offers advice like "Hello Kitty says be yourself!" Although Sanrio had been producing Hello Kitty products since the 1970s, in the mid-1980s Hello Kitty mania swelled and she became one of the most prominent and recognizable Japanese characters on Earth, found on everything from handbags to bath towels.

Kimi ga Yo, often translated as "May your reign last forever" is Japan's national anthem, and is also the world's shortest national anthems in current use with 11 measures and 32 characters. The lyrics are based on a Waka poem written in the Heian period, sung to a melody written in the later Meiji Era. The current melody was chosen in 1880, replacing an unpopular melody composed eleven years earlier.

Although Kimi ga Yo had long been Japan's de facto national anthem, it was only legally recognized as such in 1999 with the passing of a bill on national flag and anthem. After its adoption, there was controversy over the performance of the anthem at public school ceremonies. Along with the Hinomaru flag, Kimi ga Yo is claimed by some to be a symbol of Japanese imperialism and militarism.

...never thought about confessing to you...never thought that was a possibility fr me... a chance to make my own happyness...

I'll never forget...

...never thought about confessing to you...never thought that was a possibility fr me... a chance to make my own happyness...

I'll never forget the day when you came to me and asked me to go out with you....because you wanted to make my friend jealous....never thought second place hurts that much...

My best friend gave me my first necklace, a very simple and elegant silvery necklace...I wore it everyday and I was so happy with it...Sometimes I forgot that I was wearing it...it's was like a part of me...

Then you came and gave me a new necklace to replace the first one... ordinary metal...not girly like at all... I was amazed [in a bad way] when you put it...it was cold and heavy...almost making me breathe hard...I didn't know how to hide it... but you always asked me to be proud of it and show it to the world... never thought about how I might feel...

It's true that I never thought of telling you the truth either... I just accepted this like it was my responsability...I never thought of telling you about my feelings...

Your little plan succeded... She got jealous and thought of fightinh with me for you... I threw the neckalce from her that day....

...and somehow got attached to the second one... I started thinking that's precious to me because it was the only sign that he ever thought of me at least for a second...

...after two weeks they broke up... I didn't even felt that hurt when he said he'll be with her and left without saying "thank you"...but when I heard she dumped him I felt that the world around me was crashing... I felt betraied...I felt ashamed...I felt used... but all I was thinking about was that he was heartbroken...

So I cut deeper in my bleeding heart and helped those two to get back together... what a fool....

They broke up again....and I got depressed...

After 2 years she fell in love for the first time and he gave up on convincing her to get back together...

... he kissed me... our first and last kiss...I still don't know if I shoud categorise that as a happy event or an awful one...'cause it sure feels like both at the same time...that kiss moved his heart...finally he realised it...he looked ashamed at my neckace and took it off... he said he's get me another one...more suited for the girl he likes now...

It's strange how those moments didn't impressed me to much in a good way...maybe I was feeling somehow what was going to come...

So...he left...

He left the school...

...the city...

...the country...

He left me alone...never even tried to call me once...

For my birthday my sis got me a new neckalce... it had a medalion also... half heart shaped...with the face of a guy on it....she bought it when she went to Spain...the same country he's linving...

... I must say that there were times when I hoped that this neckalce was from him...but, no...that neckalce was showing me the truth of reality...my half remaining heart still thinking of him...

...I can't wear that one... it hurts...the truth hurts... so I got a new one...bought it myself... somehow I can't stop wearing it... I see in it the sign that I can go further...I can forget and forgive...

~Kokou Debut * Manga~ ...and me

Ok...I just felt like telling someone this...I've been reading this manga, Koukou Debut, since this morning and....I don't know...It just made an enormous impression for me... maybe because it touches the subject that leads my life...love.

I've been denying my heart's wish for love for a very long time...years in a row...When I say love represents me it's true...but not for the person I am now...that means I lie? Or I find an escuse in the fact that there are many types of love? I don't know what to think anymore...

Yeah, I'm pretty stressed about college and I try to find relaxation in other sections of life but there aren't so many and not so satisfying... I mean, yeah fun with friends is awsome but when I come back home I just feel that I've returned to my previous state... sure I love my parents but they're out for work all day and when they come home they're tired si I let them relax and don't trouble them with my problems... I love japan/anime/manga but that doesn't help me at this moment either... I lack tact with myself, I lack understanding towards my own person, I lack love...

Of course there's a reason why I've been denying love for myself all these years [a huge breakheart]. Love in highschool was the sweetest of all, but it wasn't true love...still I got my heart broken so deep that I shut myself in and denied my hearts wish to love and to be loved... I'm still doing it...still forcing my heart to shut up...

You'll ask what's this got to do with that manga...well, that's the reason of thinking about this. Koukou Debut is a shojo manga, that means love story...a very touching one... I'm not into shojo stuff, not into shopping, never liked spending time with a large group of girls [that gets me dizzy T_T], never tried to be feminine [although I am anyway because it's something natural for me], never tried to confess my love and never gave that a thought until the last two years... sometimes I wonder why can't I be like other girls... But I can't go for standards...I just am what it comes natural...can't change that :17f0f3b0:

But I am a girl...and unfortunately for my troubled soul, shojo manga always gets me when I'm down, haha XD Maybe because that's when I'm vulnerable *sigh*... I wonder if I or someone else will ever be able to understand me throughly...

I can say that I've became what I was afraid of....I'm afraid of love...although I'm giving advices to everyone else in the matter of love and encouraging them to love whole hartedly...I'm afraid of it now... I'm weak now because I denied it, isn't it? I'm a coward now...

I've always been a good support for others, always giving hope...but I can't accept other's help for me... sometimes I wonder if that's because that would mean that I accept the fact that I have a problem.

Still, like everything in life, this period of my life has a good part too (: I've managed to discover a little of myself... Yeah, I didn't know me [I know it sounds odd ^^'] I was always in a hurry to make the guy I love happy, always in a hurry to make everyone happy and to rise to their espectation...I was a mess [still am :P] and I never had the chance to stop for a while and get to know my own self...that has been dangerous for me, but in the end I didn't change at all... I can't change for no one...That's one of the few signs of pride in me: I don't want to change no matter what...meaning I want to stay "natural" for ever...I don't want to pretend something that's not true and I don't want to lie to anyone or myself. But I will put all things in an order so I can go further with no regrets.

And you know what? I don't regret one thing...because everytime I gave my all...all I could give at that time. That relaxes me even if some wounds still hurt from time to time...

Thank you for reading this *bow*

EDIT:

Here's the link, if you're interested in this manga...it's very much fun actually...me getting atached to a manga is not very easy but I can't stop reading it :th_091_-1:
Shodou

Japanese calligraphy (書道 shodō) is a form of calligraphy, or artistic writing, used for writing the Japanese language. The art's history has been heavily influenced by Chinese calligraphy. For a long time, the most esteemed calligrapher in Japan had been Wang Xizhi, a Chinese calligrapher in the 4th century. After the invention of Hiragana and Katakana, the Japanese unique syllabaries, calligraphers developed styles intrinsic to Japan.

The oldest existing calligraphic text in Japan is the inscription on the halo of the Bhaisajyaguru statue in Hōryū-ji Temple[1]. This Chinese text was written in Shakeitai (写経体) style, famed in Six Dynasties.
Calligraphy has been adopted as an elementary school subject in the Japanese mandatory education system. In high school, calligraphy is one of the choices among art subjects, with music or painting. Some universities, such as University of Tsukuba, Tokyo Gakugei University and Fukuoka Kyoiku University, have special departments of calligraphic study which emphasize teacher-training programs in calligraphy.

Japanese calligraphy has also fascinated many Western artists through the centuries — mainly calligraphers themselves, but famous artists as well, who studied and practiced calligraphy as a parallel to their own art.

:P2006123111472270:
This beautiful story was written by a doctor who worked in Africa .

One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do, she died, leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter.

We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive as we had no incubator (we had no electricity to run an incubator). We also had no special feeding facilities. Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts.

One student midwife went for the box we had for such babies and the cotton wool that the baby would be wrapped in. Another went to stoke up the fire and fill a hot water bottle. She came back shortly in distress to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had burst (rubber perishes easily in tropical climates ).

"And it is our last hot water bottle!" she exclaimed. As in the West, it is no good crying over spilled milk, so in Central Africa it might be considered no good crying over burst water bottles. They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest pathways..

"All right," I said, "put the baby as near the fire as you safely can, and sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts. Your job is to keep the baby warm."

The following noon , as I did most days, I went to have prayers with any of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me. I gave the youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about the tiny baby. I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm enough, mentioning the hot water bottle, and that the baby could so easily die if it got chills. I also told them of the two-year-old sister, crying because her mother had died.

During prayer time, one ten -year-old girl, Ruth , prayed with the usual blunt conciseness of our African children. "Please, God" she prayed, "Send us a hot water bottle today. It'll be no good tomorrow, God, as the baby will be dead, so please send it this afternoon."

While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added, "And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly for the little girl so she'll know You really love her?"

As often with children's prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I honestly say " Amen "? I just did not believe that God could do this. Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything; the Bible says so. But there are limits, aren't there? The only way God could answer this particular prayer would be by sending me a parcel from the homeland. I had been in Africa for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever, received a parcel from home.

Anyway, if anyone did send me a parcel, who would put in a hot water bottle? I lived on the equator!

Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses' training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door. By the time I reached home, the car had gone, but there on the verandah was a large 22-pound parcel. I felt tears pricking my eyes. I could not open the parcel alone, so I sent for the orphanage children. Together we pulled off the string, carefully undoing each knot. We folded the paper, taking care not to tear it unduly. Excitement was mounting. Some thirty or forty pairs of eyes were focused on the large cardboard box..

From the top, I lifted out brightly-colored, knitted jerseys. Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children looked a little bored. Then came a box of mixed raisins and sultanas - that would make a batch of buns for the weekend. Then, as I put my hand in again, I felt the.....could it really be? I grasped it and pulled it out. Yes, a brand new, rubber hot water bottle. I cried.

I had not asked God to send it; I had not truly believed that He could. Ruth was in the front row of the children. She rushed forward, crying out, "If God has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!"

Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small, beautifully-dressed dolly. Her eyes shone! She had never doubted! Looking up at me, she asked: "Can I go over with you and give this dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?" Of course, I replied!

That parcel had been on the way for five whole months, packed up by my former Sunday school class, whose leader had heard and obeyed God's prompting to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator. And one of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child - five months before, in answer to the believing prayer of a ten-year-old to bring it "that afternoon."

"Before they call, I will answer." (Isaiah 65:24)

When you receive this, please pray the prayer below. That's all you have to do. No strings attached. Just send it on to whomever you want - but please do send it on.

Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost, but a lot of rewards. Let's continue praying for one another.

This awesome prayer takes less than a minute:

"Heavenly Father, I ask You to bless my friends reading this. I ask You to minister to their spirit. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubting, release a renewed confidence to work through them. Where there is tiredness or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, guidance, and strength. Where there is fear, reveal Your love and release to them Your courage. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus ' name. Amen"

How to stay married!

A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared
everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from
each other except that the little old woman had a shoe box in the top of
her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.

For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the
little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover.
In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the
shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside.

She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box.

When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money
totaling $95,000.

He asked her about the contents. "When we were to be married,"
she said, "my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage
was to never argue.

She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I
should just keep quiet and crochet a doll."

The little old man was so moved; he had to fight back tears. Only two
precious dolls were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times
in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with happiness.

"Honey," he said, "that explains the doll, but what about all of this
money? Where did it come from?"
Oh," she said, "that's the money I made from selling the dolls."

men will love this..
A Prayer...... .

Dear Lord, I pray for Wisdom to understand my man; Love to forgive him; And
patience for his moods; Because Lord, if I pray for Strength, I'll beat him
to death. And I don't know how to crochet. Amen!

There are some egoists who think other people are just an extension of themselves

All the children here are miserable. When you are miserable, you need something that is even more miserable than you to feel good about yourself. (:yociexp83:pay attention to this, this is a very good perception of life:yociexp40: )

It may if a miracle happens, but it’s called miracle because it doesn’t happen

Playing is more important;:heyheypig418: you can work anytime.

Is there a need for a reason to kill someone? - This question is killing me:JFBQ00226070619A:

If you die, I'll kill you!

A man can't just live on carbohydrates... at least not alone:d200712191804509042

A sinner once passed away will never return, but sins will never vanish and the love will never die:JFBQ00160070208A:

The past is the past... and the future is the future. A man is a man, and a woman is a woman. I am who I am, and you are who you are. :yocifans009: Like it really matters anyway...
